The sling uses a round sling sleeve, but with a different manufacturing process: the load-bearing core is not inserted inside the sleeve. Instead, it is placed onto the sleeve, which is then folded over and closed around the core.
This range is particularly suitable and recommended for lifting steel structures, as well as for demanding lifting operations.
About this product
Designed for heavy and very high-capacity lifting, the double-sleeve roundsling with side seam meets the requirements of the most demanding sectors, including heavy industry, construction, shipyards and maritime activities.
Its load-bearing core, made from high-tenacity multifilament polyester yarns, is positioned on the textile sleeve. The sleeve is then folded over and sewn along the side to create a double protective layer. This construction provides enhanced protection for the load-bearing fibres and gives the sling a rounder, more regular and uniform shape.
The roundsling with side seam can be manufactured in particularly high capacities and long lengths. Available with a WLL ranging from 1 to 600 tonnes and a usable length of up to 60 metres (please contact us), it is suitable for both exceptional lifting operations and handling applications requiring a short sling or limited clearance.
Each sling is fitted with a label ensuring its identification and traceability. Slings with a capacity of 100 tonnes or more feature two traceability labels: one standard label and a second polyurethane-coated label incorporated as a ring around the sling.
Made from high-tenacity polyester and compliant with the EN 1492-2+A1 standard, with a 7:1 safety factor, the double-sleeve roundsling with side seam is a robust, reliable and durable solution for the most demanding lifting operations.
