The POWERTRUCK® is a high-performance load securing system developed by PMS Industrie for road transport and cargo restraint applications. Thanks to its triple-gear ratchet tensioner and ergonomic reverse-action tensioning system, it achieves an STF of 800 daN, approximately twice that of a conventional ratchet. This performance reduces the number of lashing straps required while improving load safety. The system complies with EN 12195-2 and is available in a 50 mm webbing width, with a 10 m working length, a Lashing Capacity (LC) of 2,500 daN in straight pull, and 5,000 daN in loop lashing.
About this product
The POWERTRUCK® was developed to meet the needs of transport, logistics, construction, and industrial professionals seeking a more efficient load securing system than conventional solutions.
Its innovation lies in a triple-gear ratchet mechanism that multiplies the force applied by the operator. This technology delivers an exceptional STF (Standard Tension Force) of 800 daN, significantly improving the effectiveness of friction-based load securing. In many applications, a single POWERTRUCK® can replace two standard lashing systems while maintaining compliance with load restraint regulations.
The system also features an ergonomic reverse-action tensioner and a 30 cm handle. The operator applies force downward, using body weight rather than arm strength, reducing muscular strain and helping to protect the back during repetitive operations.
Benefit of an STF of 800 daN: reduce by at least 50% the number of tie-down lashings required in many applications.

- Friction coefficient μ = 0.55
The number of lashing systems required depends on the specific application and must always be determined by calculation. The minimum number of lashings remains 2 for tie-down lashing and 4 for direct lashing.
STF (Standard Tension Force) is the residual tension in the webbing that keeps the load secured. The triple-gear system increases tensioning force while reducing the manual effort required from the operator.
