The GRIZZLY sling for exceptional lifting

UHMWPE: a high-strength fibre
UHMWPE: Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene is an ultra-high-strength fibre offering outstanding properties such as resistance to abrasion, cuts and moisture. This fibre can be used both for the sheath and/or the core, allowing PMS Industrie to offer a tailor-made configuration.

The advantages of the GRIZZLY sling
The premium materials used in this fibre and the manufacturing processes of the woven sheath provide significant advantages and extend the service life of your sling.

Its resistance: to abrasion, moisture, UV rays, cuts, chemicals and seawater. It is up to 30 times stronger than a polyester sling. Made from one of the most resistant materials on the market, its woven sheath prevents deterioration thanks to its compact yarn structure. The sheath has no elasticity, meaning the sling does not deform.
Its cost-effectiveness: a long service life, the possibility of repairing your sling and its lightweight design, reducing the number of people required for handling.
Its adaptability: GRIZZLY slings can be manufactured with a breaking strength of up to 2100 tonnes and a maximum length of 40 metres.
Its ergonomics and lightweight design: the GRIZZLY sling is lightweight, flexible and therefore easier to handle. It has a smaller diameter than polyester slings, is ten times lighter than a chain sling and five times lighter than a wire rope sling: an additional advantage for handling and positioning the sling on the load to be lifted.
Its traceability: the GRIZZLY sling features a label protected by a polyurethane coating for improved durability. It can be equipped with an RFID system with rewritable chips: with a single scan, you can access traceability information, product history and inspections.
Several possible configurations

Polyester sheath and UHMWPE core:
Mixed sling with UHMWPE GRIZZLY core and PES sheath – ERGRIZZLY: fibre core and polyester sheath.

UHMWPE sheath and UHMWPE core:
100% UHMWPE high-capacity sling.

UHMWPE sheath and polyester core:
Mixed sling with GRIZZLY UHMWPE sheath and PES core.

UHMWPE sleeves
UHMWPE sleeves – FGR, PF and PV GRIZZLY
To protect your equipment when it comes into contact with sharp edges and corners, our UHMWPE fibre sleeves adapt to all types of devices by sliding along the strap, reducing sudden impacts between the sling and the load.
The sleeve thickness varies depending on the load to be lifted. Three types of sleeves are available:
PRO: 1.5 - 3 mm

PRO+ : 3 - 6 mm

EXPERT : 5 - 10 mm

The sleeves can be added to the strap in sewn or Velcro versions to protect and improve strap resistance:
- Sewn sleeve
- Velcro sleeve
The sleeve can be sewn onto one or two legs.
The Velcro sleeve can be moved along the strap depending on the required position.
