About this product

C-type flat webbing sling (4 plies) with two reinforced folded eyes (category 2).
Be careful, according to standard EN 1492-1+A1, make sure to always protect your slings if used in a lifting configuration with sharp angles. A wide range of protections is available: polyurethane, PVC or leather sleeve, polyurethane protection keeper, etc.

For smaller lifting capacities, use B-type slings (double ply).

These slings' eyes are folded to facilitate its handling upon hooks. The minimum length for the eyes is set by standard EN 1492-1: 3 times the width of the sling for widths up to 150 mm ; 2,5 times the width of the sling for width above 150 mm. These lengths have been determined to respect an usage angle between 10° and 20° when using the sling. Indeed, an excessive eye opening angle will open the sling and on the contrary a small eye opening angle will generate a bending stress at the lifting axis.
