The Li-1 is the only non-reusable sling with a guaranteed single use thanks to both our traceability solutions and the Li-1 housing we have developed. This plastic part makes the sling unusable for several handling operations by destroying it when removed. Ideal for handling welded mesh, wooden frames or panels for houses, crates (heavy duty motors), etc.

An easy and secure use 1. Pass the sling through the mesh of the welded mesh. Pass the hanging end of the sling through the loop. Thread the webbing through the Li1 plastic part, respecting the direction of the arrow on the housing.

2. Slide the sling as close as possible to the welded mesh pack. Lock the Li1 system by pressing on the upper part of the housing. Press the pusher until you hear a "CLICK".

3. The system is in place and operational.

4. It is impossible to remove the sling without destroying it, thus becoming unusable.

Important information

No harmonized European standard exists to state the safety factor for one-way slings. This explains why you can find on market slings with safety factors of 5:1 or even 3:1. However, according to European directive 2006/42/CE and to provide higher safety we recommend a safety factor of 7:1 as for regular textile slings. Contact us for any further information. Your safety depends on the proper use of your product. Refer to the user manual supplied with the equipment.
